Habitat: pseudoceanic, epibenthic; day at 500-600 m; night at 180 m. Food: no data. Reproduction: no data.

Distribution: Atlantic: amphi-Atlantic pattern: from off Casablanca (Morocco) and the north- west African seaboard; off the Bahamas and in the Gulf of Mexico. Pacific: coastal waters off Hawaii and off central Japan.

Eggs, larvae and young stages. No data.
