Diagnosis: a small fish with a rather short caudal peduncle. Upper attachment of axial dermal flap opposite pectoral finray 10-13 (m= 11). Dorsal finrays 7; anal finrays 5-7; caudal finrays 11-12. Length of disc 3.8-4.6 (m = 4.3) times in SL. Colour: life colours unknown. Size: to 22 mm SL.
