Diagnosis: head relatively long, 2.3 times in SL. Body depth 5.1-5.2, and disc length 3.3- 3.5 times in SL. Dorsal finrays 6; anal finrays 5; pectoral finrays 22-25 (m = 23); caudal finrays 10-12. Colour: carmine red with traces of greenish pigment. Dorsal and anal fins with reddish oblique lines which become transverse on caudal fin. Size: to 32 mm
