Bellottia Giglioli, 1883
Rather short body. Several sharp spines at lower angle of preopercle. Caudal fin joined to dorsal and anal fins. Pelvic fins absent. Scales present on head. Caught in bottom trawls at depths from 30 to 500 m. Viviparous.
