Cyprinodontiformes
Beloniformes have opercular and preopercular margins which lack spines or serrations. They have 4-15 branchiostegal rays. No orbitosphenoid. They have four cuboidal pectoral radials. The caudal skeleton has two or four triangular hypural plates. The swimbladder is physoclitous.
