Bathylychnops Cohen, 1958

Body elongate, sub-cylindrical in cross-section. Eyes somewhat protruding but not tubular. An accessory eye resembling a photophore. Pearly accessory corneal bodies on margin of eye. Vomerine teeth in a single row. Vertebrae 80-84.
