Genus Rinoctes

Rinoctes Parr, 1952

Body fairly slender, scaleless; head large; snout pointed, upper jaw prc jecting. Pyloric caeca 6-9. Dorsal fin origin in advance of anal fin origin.
Probably engybenthic, abyssal.
