Clupeiformes
Clupeiformes are herringlike fishes. most of them have a hysostomous swimbladder. The inner ear is connected with the bladder's diverticula. Usually less than 15 branchiostegal rays. No teeth on parasphenoid. The jaws are not protrusible.
