Diagnosis: rings 16-17 + 36-42, D 39-47, P 15-16, total subdorsal rings 13-15. Snout slender, its depth less than diameter of eye; snout long, its length more than half HL; body rings prominent, the distal margins typically with spine-like points in sub-adult and adults. Size: to about 11 cm TL.
