Lagocephalus Swainson, 1839
Two separate lateral lines, the lower usually on a fold of skin. Caudal peduncle rather narrow. Caudal fin lunate. Two nostrils on each side of snout with more or less developed papilla. No bony plates on back.
Found in all oceans.
