Gadomus Regan, 1903
Snout blunt, but rounded, jaws equal or lower slightly shorter; chin barbel present (at least in Clofnam species). Outer rays of pectoral, pelvic and usually first dorsal fin prolonged into filaments; pelvic fins with 8 finrays, inserted behind pectoral fin base. Scales without spinules.
