Genus Rhynchohyalus

Rhynchohyalus Barnard, 1927

Body compressed laterally, not very elongate. Snout an elongate tube, longer than orbit length. Eyes tubular, although not strongly so, dorsally directed. Ventral fin elongate, closer to dorsal than to pectoral fin. Adipose fin present.
