Antennarius Daudin, 1816
Skin covered with close-set dermal spinules. Pectoral fin lobe broadly attached to side of body. Pelvic fins relatively small, length much less than 25% SL. All rays of caudal fin bifurcate. Dorsal finrays III + 11-14; anal finrays 6-10; pectoral finrays 8 -14. Colour and colour pattern highly variable.
